Coaching Philosophy

There’s various ways of coaching and it takes a special coach to determine the right style for a player, whether it is an adult player or a child. Our 25 years of experience working with kids and adults helps us to determine the best coaching style for every single student. There are many ways to help a student player achieve their goals but there’s ways that are more effiicient than others. We have skill evaluations with each and every student in order to know their needs and level prior to determining how many orientation lessons are needed.

We understand that learning tennis is an both an investment in time and financially. We work with players to build skills the right way through drills, skill-building, and the most quality time on the court possible. We believe that proper tennis skills are taught through proper technique and form, however, this is a statement that is abused in our industry. Many coaches claim to put an emphasis on proper technique because it’s what clients want to hear. But in practice, our industry commonly displays what can only be described as professional malpractice with players that have good or even great tennis playing skills masquerading as a coach. Coaching takes a special skillset that not every good or great tennis player has.
