Policies
CAMPS
Camp classes go on RAIN or
SHINE. Missed classes of camp WILL NOT carry over to
another day of camp. Any missed days of camp can be
made up during the After School Program by notifying
the Tennis Director.
Payments for camp must be received prior to
participation.
ALL OTHER
PROGRAMS
REGISTRATION
All sessions for children and adults are
to be paid in advance. This guarantees that a class
will go on as scheduled regardless of the number of
people in attendance.
Players MAY NOT use make-up classes to register for any
part of an upcoming session.
MISSED CLASSES
Classes missed for any reason (weather,
sickness, travel, other engagements, forgetfulness,
etc) may be made up at any point in the future with a
group of similar skill level and where space is

RAIN/LIGHTNING POLICY
Classes canceled due to rain/lightning
PRIOR to the start of class can be made up at a later
date.
Classes canceled due to rain/lightning DURING a class
will be treated as a "missed class" and will you will
be able to make up the class at a later date
if:
a) A 1-hour class was canceled prior to the 30-minute
mark
b) A 90-minute class was canceled prior to the
45-minute mark
Classes canceled after that point will be considered
complete and do not need to be made up.
All make up classes scheduled for a Saturday will be
held at Tropical Park, located at 7900 SW 40th street,
which is approximately 5-10 minutes from Dante Fascell
Park.
MAKE UP CLASSES
A make up class that is missed without
notification WILL NOT be made up at a later time. This
does not count make up classes that are canceled by
Barbosa Tennis due to rain or other reasons.
